BIG WRITERS

PUBLISHING ADM. CATALOGUE JINGLES THE CHARTS AWARDS

Lanfranco Music (also home of Samalea Songs and Nelia Music), best known as the small publisher with BIG WRITERS , is  Miami's first GRAMMY AWARD winning independent Latin Music publisher. With more than 15  years of experience, Lanfranco Music, has become a leader in its field. Winner of 23"El Premio ASCAP" Latin music Awards and 2 BMI Latin Music Awards, Lanfranco has published songs included in two Grammy Award winning recordings, received "Song of the Year" awards in the Billboard/Premio Lo Nuestro Latin Music Awards, and Emmy and Grammy nominations. Numerous songs comprising the Lanfranco Music catalogue have climbed Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks and Billboard 50 charts reaching the number 1 spot and top ten positions.
Aside from winning awards, Lanfranco Music was the first Latin music publisher to present gold and platinum records to its songwriters, arrangers, producers, and performers in recognition of airplay and sales exceeding 50,000 and 100,000 units respectively. We initiated the awards in 1992 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and later turned it into a radio show recognizing songwriters, broadcast in Miami.
In an effort to recognize Latin Music songwriters, Lanfranco Music initiated two succesful campaigns, joined by many writers and publishers.  The first led to the creation of the ASCAP Latin music awards. The second led to the inclusion of songwriter's names in the Billboard Hot Larin tracks Chart
